The gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America and has frequently participated in ArtBasel, ArtBasel Miami, the ADAA Art Show, ARCOMadrid, Frieze Masters, Frieze New York, and The Armory Show. Today, Bill Acquavella still oversees the gallery’s operations but he is assisted by his daughter Eleanor and his grandsons, Nick and Alexander. Acquavella Galleries has gone through 3 generations of the Acquavella family. Nicholas founded the gallery back in the Nineteen Twenties and was succeeded by his son, Bill in the 1960s.
